CINTIARNA DOES IT

Cintiarna overcame an unsettled preparation to win the Group 3 West End Draught Anniversary Cup (515m) at Angle Park on Thursday night.

Jumping well from box 1 Cintiarna was second in running for much of the journey before her class prevailed in the home straight, winning by five lengths in the sizzling time of 29.53sec.

Hazelwood trainer Sandra Collins spoke of her concerns 10 hours before the race as her star sprinter was missing home having arrived in South Australia on Wednesday night.
