Rising Victorian star Veyron Bale threw down the gauntlet to his opposition for Saturday night’s Group 1 Centrebet Paws Of Thunder Final with a dazzling 29.65 heat triumph at Wentworth Park.

On a night that saw some blowout results, five Victorian and three NSW prepared chasers progressed through to next Saturday’s lucrative final.

Trainer Andrea Dailly qualified two runners into the final, landing victory with the promising Veyron Bale as well as Streetbike Tommy, who won heat seven in 30.01.

By Velocette, Streetbike Tommy is out of exceptional producer Paris St. Germain, who has produced a number of classy chasers including Group 1 Australian Cup winner St. Pierre.

Never far away in big race finals, Graeme Bate enjoyed another big night, claiming heat wins with 33/1 outsider Fully Advanced and Imry Bale.
