HUME CUP TONIGHT

Tonight is one of the biggest nights on the greyhound racing calendar as the final of the Group 1 Hume Cup and the running of the RSN Silver Bullet are conducted on an enticing Cup Eve at The Meadows.

With the state afforded the day off on Tuesday for the thoroughbred Melbourne Cup, the fun starts early at The Meadows, as revellers look to find an early winner at the greyhounds before the Cup.

This year, the Hume Cup, which the Hume City Council and the local community adopt as their own, has been elevated to a Group 1 race, after The Meadows announced prizemoney increases to its feature races as a result of the $6 million across-the-board increase applied by GRV in the new financial year.
