A FAIRYTALE ENDING

Spud Regis (pictured – courtesy GRSA) was triumphant in the 2012 Triple M Adelaide Cup on Thursday after a difficult week for trainer Andrea Dailly and her camp.

Spud Regis is a litter brother to Big Black Mac, who tragically died last week in a road accident and both the greyhounds are owned by the Treloar syndicate.

The story itself is heartbreaking yet euphoric for the owners, with Spud Regis showing no signs of fatigue or shock from the accident when winning the $75,000 first prize.
