News Item 1: A “NEW LOCK” has been placed at the entrance to the track. Any Member or New Member/s wishing to renew their membership and exchange your key you can contact Wayne Kirk (lives in Melton) on 0403 966 850 or to join our club.

News Item 2: On Saturday the 1st of September NO TRIALS will be conducted A/C the Fathers Day Weekend on the 2nd September.

News Item 3:  Note this is very important NOTICE to ALL Owners & Trainers that use this Track and to abide by this next request and to ensure the safety and welfare of ALL Greyhound/s.

As from Sunday 9th of September the Melton Greyhound Racing  “TRACK”  will be Totally CLOSED for a period of  3 Weeks. This means  NO FREE GALLOPING during a week day or Saturday Morning Trials as well.

Due to the Maintenance of the Track in the form of having it CORED  from the 400 metre boxes to the edge of sand in the catching pen (Grassed Area).

For the safety of ALL Greyhound/s the CORED area’s will be of a reasonable size, about as big as you ring finger. By having the track totally closed this will save any injuries to your Greyhound/s feet, toes etc ….

The Melton Shire Council will use their “LOCK” whilst the track is “CLOSED” for the 3 week period.

Your Co-operation in needed for the first stage of works and improvement to the track surface for all Members, Owners & Trainers to use.
