REMEMBERING HIGH EARNER

Champion greyhound High Earner sadly died of a stomach condition last Saturday night, aged 5.

The highest Australian stakes earner of all-time with $610,000 in prize-money had a race record of 33 wins and 21 placings from 69 career starts and won prestigious races such as; the Temlee and back-to-back Perth Cups.

High Earner was at stud at Meticulous Lodge when he showed signs of illness Friday afternoon. Studmaster Paul Westerveld and wife Michelle immediately took him to an emergency vet clinic where he was treated for a stomach condition.

Over the next 24hrs his condition worsened and sadly, one complication led to another and High Earner succumbed to his illness at 11:30pm on Saturday night due to vital organ failure.
