HEROIC HESTON

Heston Bale stepped well and truly out of brother Bekim Bale’s shadow last night when he flew around The Meadows breaking the two-year old track record.

The former 525m record was held by Turanza Bale, who stopped the clock at 29.61, this was smashed by Heston Bale last night as he rounded the track in a scintillating 29.45.

The youngster, trained by Andrea Dailly has now won eight of his 12 starts and will continue on to the semis of the Group 1 Silver Chief.
