NSW stayer Zipping Malfoy [Malfoy x Or Catra] caused an upset in the Group 1 Bold Trease Carnival Cup at Sandown Park on Thursday night.

The Anthony Azzopardi-trained greyhound pinged straight to the lead, as his more established litter brother Zipping Lad settled in second place.

And as good siblings should, Zipping Lad provided the perfect block, hindering the pathways of Bling It On and Granduer at various stages before drifting to the rear of the field in the dying stages.

Zipping Malfoy won by three lengths in the brilliant time of 41.80sec, with Echelon and Slick Lee both finishing the race off strongly to run second and third respectively.
