Bling It On won last Thursday night’s Group 3 Sir John Dillon Memorial at Sandown Park.

The John Westerlo-trained stayer led from start to finish and was never seriously challenged once Granduer began slowly from box 2.

This allowed Blng It On to explode to the early lead, and despite a late charge from runner-up Bobby Boucheau, it was a case of too little too lste.

Bling It on stopped the clock in the slick time of 42.00sec over the 715m trip.

This was his first  group race victory, and 16th win from 43 career starts.
