Recent Watchdog App fixes and improvements

The Watchdog App has recently been updated with some fixes and improvements which means it resumes as the best way to do the form and consume content on your phone.

Below are some of the changes you’ll notice.

Don’t have the Watchdog App? Download it in your respective App Store

Set alerts for upcoming races
Just like most betting apps, you can set alerts so you can be reminded of a race upcoming. Hit the bell icon up the top of the screen within each race to set your reminder – please note you must be logged in to use this function.

Podcasts in one place
See greyhound related podcasts in one place and play them within the app. Not only will the latest episode of Grey Areas appear here, but as well as content from SEN Track/RSN, Sky Sports Radio and Jim Van de Maat’s Green Light On. Find these on the home page or in the Media section.

Search function
Finding a certain greyhound or trainer has been made easier. Search results now display the last start of each greyhound, which makes life easier when more than one exact result appears. It’s also more forgiving with punctuation, meaning it’ll display Wow She’s Fast when you’ve inputted Wow Shes Fast (without the apostrophe).

Recent YouTube issue
You may have noticed an issue late in 2025 where YouTube videos weren’t able to be played, which included replays. This has been fixed.

General performance and stability improvements
The boring one liner that keeps the whole thing ticking over.
