Traralgon abandoned

Traralgon’s ‘Night’ race meeting on Wednesday 3 August was abandoned due to unsatisfactory track conditions.

The club’s upcoming scheduled race meetings on Friday 5 August (Day) and Monday 8 August (Twilight) have been cancelled, with remedial works to commence tomorrow ahead of a proposed return to racing on Friday 12 August. Please refer to the Important Announcements section in FastTrack for the latest information.

Prizemoney from Wednesday night’s (3 August) meeting will be divided equally among greyhounds that were eligible to compete at the time of abandonment, pursuant to GAR 111 (3).

Starters fees and travel subsidy from Friday’s (5 August) meeting will be paid, with prizemoney divided equally among greyhounds that were drawn to compete.

Any VICGREYS bonus that applied to an abandoned event will be divided equally between the eligible owners and breeders of the eligible greyhounds that were due to compete.
