Buddy in the box seat?

Recent Warragul 400m track record breaker Paua Of Buddy has emerged a big winner in Saturday night’s Group 2 Bendigo Cup final after coming up with box one.

Typhoon Sammy, who sensationally broke Shima Shine’s track record in last night’s heats clocking 23.28sec, has drawn box seven, a draw he has had three times for two wins.

Triple country cups king Ferdinand Boy has box five, a draw he has won from on six occasions, including his Bendigo Cup heat win.

Winner of the final will claim a $50,000 first prize.
