Fresh off his stunning Group 1 Sportsbet Melbourne Cup triumph, rising star Canya Mayhem has today been confirmed as the Phoenix representative for Total Container Solutions.
The powerhouse son of Bernardo and Bali Sunset was irresistible at Sandown Park on Saturday night, spearing to the lead to seal one of greyhound racing’s most coveted prizes.
It continues a remarkable rise for the 19-start talent, who has now amassed more than $550,000 in prizemoney from just 10 victories, including a strong recent record at The Meadows.
His most recent win at the track came earlier this month when he overcame box eight, crossed cleverly and powered away to score in 29.92 seconds.
His best time at The Meadows came in start six where he stopped the clock in a time of 29.89 seconds over the 525 metres.

For Total Container Solutions, the decision to select Canya Mayhem was an easy one.
“We loved how he won the Melbourne Cup on Saturday night – he is an impressive dog and we can’t wait to see what he can do on Phoenix night,” Jarrod Sharp, Total Container Solutions
Trainer Jess Hopkins is still pinching herself after a whirlwind few days.
“The past few days have been unforgettable for me – first a Melbourne Cup and now a chance for him to race in the Phoenix,” Hopkins said.
