Another Thursday Free-For-All treat

We’re treated to another very solid Free-For-All at Sandown Park this Thursday night with Lakeview Emily, Vincent Bale and Bagman the biggest names in it.

Bagman again comes up with box 1, as he had last week when getting the chocolates in arguably a deeper field than what he meets this week.

Vincent Bale was also in the race. He was inconvenienced by Bagman moving away from the rail approaching the first turn.

Bagman (1) drifts slightly wide, Vincent Bale (2) under pressure

Despite this week’s wide draw for Vincent Bale, it may be slightly easier for him to settle in a striking position given Lakeview Emily (on his inside) generally pushes towards the rail.

Lakeview Emily (8) pushes to the inside at The Meadows on Saturday

Lakeview Emily returns to Sandown Park after a massive tussle with Flying Zulu at The Meadows on Saturday. She was caught on his outside and despite Flying Zulu running an extremely swift time of 29.66, she was only beaten by less than a length.

It sets up another contest of high interest on a Thursday night, it’s Race 8 at 9.31pm.
