ANZAC Appeal | Two for Two-up

Victoria’s greyhound racing community will support the RSL’s ANZAC Appeal through a Two for Two-up campaign on ANZAC Day – Monday 25 April – at Ballarat, Warrnambool, Traralgon and Shepparton.

For every greyhound that wins wearing the number two rug on ANZAC Day, the host club will donate $50 to their local RSL, which will be matched by GRV – making it $100 per number two winner.

GRV Chair, Peita Duncan said Australia’s servicemen and servicewomen had given so much to the nation.

“Through this campaign, we can give something back with all the funds raise going to support each clubs’ local veterans and their families,” Ms Duncan said.

“It’s time to get behind each and every number two rug – Two for Two-up on Monday.”

The game of two-up is synonymous with Australian soldiers. How to play

ANZAC Day racing kicks off at Ballarat from 1.02pm from there we head to Warrnambool at 2.52pm, Traralgon at 4.43pm and concluding at Shepparton from 7.09pm.
