Changes to racing schedule amid metropolitan curfew

GRV is moving ‘Night’ race meetings in Victoria’s metropolitan region to earlier time slots to assist with the 8pm COVID-19 curfew.

The changes will come into effect from Monday 10 August until mid-September with Cranbourne, Sandown and The Meadows impacted. Regional clubs will take on ‘Night’ timeslots during this period.

A summary of changes to GRV’s standard weekly calendar is as follows:

  • WEDNESDAYS: Cranbourne (Twilight); Bendigo (Night).
  • THURSDAYS: Shepparton (Day); Sandown (Twilight); Warragul (Night).
  • SATURDAYS: The Meadows (Twilight); Rotating ‘Twilight’ meeting now a Night meeting.
  • SUNDAYS: Sandown (Day); Sale (Twilight).

The abovementioned timeslots will remain in place until 31 August, with further calendar changes to be communicated next week via fasttrack.grv.org.au
