New Innovations

Greyhound trainers are invited to be part of a Public Trainers list where their contact details will be made available to the public via GRV’s website.

This is one of a number of key technological changes now available to Greyhound Racing Victoria members and punters.

The Public Trainers List will provide a pathway for owners to contact trainers, thus creating potential opportunities for trainers to train their greyhounds.

For trainers to be included on the Public Trainers List they simply need to:
1. Log into FastTrack
2. Click on ‘My Account’
3. Click the relevant box at the foot of the ‘Details’ tab.

Another key change relates to trainers nominating their greyhounds to race, with the nominations count for all upcoming meetings to be displayed on one page. This makes it quicker and easier for trainers to decide where they nominate as they can easily identify how many nominations have been received for each race meeting.

TAB punters are also set to benefit from changes to the Snapshot formguide, which is part of The Watchdog’s on-line form service and is also displayed as an A4 sheet in TABs.

The introduction of new greyhound wall sheets in TABs some months ago saw The Watchdog lose its branding in this important market space.

GRV deems it important that simple key information such as The Watchdog’s selections and individual comments once again be made available to TAB customers via The Snapshot, at the expense of the previous version, which was largely symbols-based.

The new look Snapshot formguide for all Victorian greyhound races is now available on-line by visiting grv.org.au and clicking on The Watchdog tab.
