Warrnambool has been without power since Thursday due to a fire at the town’s Telstra site.
Internet and phone landlines are down, however contact can be made to the club by phoning Fiona Umbers on 0448 805 844.
“Communication lines are down in most houses and surrounding towns,” Umbers said.
“ATMs are down throughout Warrnambool and surrounding towns and banks are in lockdown, so to access cash we have to drive two hours to Colac.”
It is hoped communication channels will be restored by the end of the week.
The club is working diligently to get its race meeting scheduled for Wednesday 28 November to go ahead.
