RADLEY ROMPS IN

True to his word, Graeme Bate has guided his veteran sprinter to a second group win as Radley Bale took out last night’s Group 2 Launceston Cup.

Last month Bate declared that Radley Bale would pinch another group race before his career is out, and he has managed to do so just 11 days before his fourth birthday.

Radley Bale’s stake earnings have now pushed up to $496,000 in a career spanning 97 starts for 36 wins, 20 seconds and six thirds.

Radley Bale won by four and a half lengths over Lika Whisper and Classic Camdale.
