The fields are out for the 2017 Group Two Cranbourne Cup heats, and Group One Sale Cup winner Dundee Osprey is looking to continue his unbeaten streak over Cranbourne’s 520 metre distance on Saturday February 4.
Meadows Manager Marg Long says that a number of greyhounds have a lot to play for when they line up in Group finals around the country this weekend, with the $1.2 million Sky Racing Australian Cup Carnival just around the corner.
Close to 100 greyhounds have been invited to compete in three Group 1 invitationals at The Meadows – including the Temlee (525m), Rookie Rebel (600m) and Zoom Top (725m) on February 18 – kicking off the three-week Sky Racing Australian Cup Carnival, with a total of over $1.2 million dollars in prizemoney up for grabs.
