Maturity night – Countdown is on

Fields are out and the countdown has gone up a gear as we build towards to Saturday’s Maturity meeting at The Meadows.

It’s headlined by the Group 1 Maturity Classic (525m) and Group 3 Fireball (730m) headlined by Palawa King.

Since 1970 The Maturity has been one of the sport’s most prestigious races for young greyhounds and has been won by some of the all time greats. Early support with Sportsbet has been with Follow The Band and Container, abeit nibbles. The early hold of money is with Palawa King in the Fireball.

Splitting the two features on the card is a belting Free-For-All filled with big names, most notably Transponder and In The Hub who will jump side-by-side. It’s a cracker.
