TWO FOR TWO-UP: Greyhounds to race in support of ANZAC Appeal and local RSL Clubs on ANZAC Day

GRV is privileged to announce that three Victorian greyhound race clubs will race this Tuesday 25 April – ANZAC Day – in support of their local RSL clubs and the ANZAC Appeal.

Our clubs at Geelong, Horsham and Warragul will donate $50 towards the ANZAC Appeal every time the number two dog wins a race at their respective track on the day as part of the ‘Two for Two-Up’ campaign, with GRV to match funds raised.

The game of two-up is synonymous with Australian soldiers (How to play), with greyhound racing’s ‘Two for Two-Up’ initiative now entering its second year after raising $700 on ANZAC Day last year.

Ex-servicemen and women and local RSL Clubs are invited to attend the race meetings, while a number of race names will recognise the significance of the day.

The ANZAC Appeal raises funds to change the lives of our veterans and their families.
