NAIDOC Week at GRV

The National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee (NAIDOC) aims to increase awareness in the wider community of the status and treatment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians.

The theme this year for NAIDOC week is ‘Voice. Treaty. Truth. Let’s Work Together’. The indigenous voice of Australia is over 65,000 years old.

Greyhound Racing Victoria acknowledges the traditional owners of the land which we reside – Boon Wurrung and Wurundjeri peoples of the Kulin Nation – as well as those across the state, where each of our 13 tracks are located.

To celebrate NAIDOC Week a range of events will be held across the country, including concerts, art exhibitions, literature and many more. To find out how you can get involved or to see what Is happening near you visit www.naidoc.org.au.
