Tipsters chase gold in Easter Egg heats

Craig Hutchison has skipped away to a huge lead in the Chase for Charity following the win by Blue Moon Rising in the Group 3 Gold Cup last weekend.

The Chase for Charity tipsters are focussing on Wentworth Park again tonight, with heats of the Group 1 Golden Easter Egg (520m) to be run.

Hutchy is looking to extend his lead by placing his weekly $500 bet on the brilliant Poke The Bear (pictured), who will line up in Race 4 at 8.08pm from box one.

“Poke The Bear is favourite dog and loves the red. He’s had 12 starts from box one for 10 wins,” Hutchy said.

Meanwhile, Liam Pickering and Doctor Turf are also backing in some high-profile greyhounds in Dyna Patty and Orson Allen respectively.

“Dyna Patty has won over $500,000 in prize money and she won the Australian Cup last month,” Pickers said.

Chase for Charity runs for 30 weeks and is broadcast on Saturday mornings across 1116 SEN and
