The Greyhound Owners Trainers & Breeders Association (GOTBA) of Victoria is set to host a workshop/seminar on reward-based incentive lure systems, primarily the Finish on Lure.
The workshop will consist of speakers offering opposing views on this subject, and also include a presentation from renowned animal trainer/behaviourist, Steve Austin.
The GOTBA believes it is extremely important that strong numbers supporting both sides of this discussion attend the workshop, as having greyhounds racing keenly for longer will help ensure that the racing schedule can continue to be filled despite a recent drop in breeding numbers.
Where: Sandown Greyhound Racing Club
When: Saturday 17 June, 10am-2pm
Host: Racecaller James Van de Maat
Guest speaker: Renowned animal trainer/behaviourist Steve Austin
