Jungle Boogie

The White Ribbon Foundation was the beneficiary of a glamorous evening at The Meadows last Saturday, with the club hosting a ‘Girls Night Out’ with a Welcome to the Jungle theme.

Almost 300 women basked in the fun of the pamper parlour, tarot reading, photo booth, lolly buffet, pet greyhounds and a dip for diamonds jewellery giveaway, while being entertained by singer Janine Leroy, whose talents ensured the dance floor got a good workout.

Fashions on the Track, a catwalk comp for best dressed, was also part of the fun, with the first prize being two tickets to the lounge on Oaks day at the races valued at $1000.

White Ribbon is Australia’s campaign to prevent men’s violence against women, with $7,000 raised for the cause on the night.
