High Five for Husband and Wife Duo

Team Delbridge trained five winners at The Meadows on Wednesday in a wonderful training effort.

“That is as many winners as we’ve ever trained in a single race meeting, so it was very exciting. I think we might have also trained five winners at Warrnambool one night, but that was many years ago,” said Lisa Delbridge.

Of the five winners, Silver Brodie is the one that impressed Lisa most.

“Silver Brodie is the only one in my name, the rest are all in (husband) Mark’s name. He ran the quickest time of the night (30.056sec) and is over four years old so it was an excellent run.”

“We had a total of eight runners on the day for five wins and a second, so we’re very happy,” the Balliang trainer added.
