Grandstand Grading Open to the Public

In a first for greyhound racing in this country, and possibly the world, the general public will have full access to live grading at The Meadows this Wednesday.

The recently announced GRV Strategic Plan identified the need to improve member education and communication of grading, with the ultimate goal of providing a transparent, fair and enjoyable racing experience for members supplemented by the consistent application and enforcement of clear rules, standards and opportunities to race.

From 9:00am in the upstairs dining area, GRV’s Chief Grader Andrew Mills will grade five race meetings, one after the other, with the entire transparent process being projected live on a big screen.

GRV’s Racing Manager Scott Robins will be on hand to answer any queries regarding grading, programming or general racing.

When: Wednesday 25 June 9:00am to approx 2:00pm

Where: The Meadows, 80 Northcorp Boulevard, Broadmeadows (upstairs dining area)
