MAJOR PINK MILESTONE

Major McCheese won the first race at Shepparton tonight to become the 100th pink winner of the 2012 Go The Pink Dog! campaign taking the total raised for the McGrath Foundation to $50,000. Greyhound Racing Victoria has been raising funds throughout February to help fund McGrath Breast Care Nurses across Australia.

West Australian superstar Miata has been scratched from a heat of the Group 1 Super Stayers at The Meadows this Saturday night. Trainer Paul Stuart made the decision late on Thursday just hours before he was set to board a plane with Miata from Perth to Melbourne.
