How Do I find A Vet?

Your greyhound will need to see a vet at many stages of its life.  By the time you have purchased a pup, it will have already been microchipped and vaccinated, but your greyhound vet will be able to assist you with a variety of information about ongoing health care as well as injury prevention and management.

Greyhounds have a number of illnesses and features that are different to other breeds of dogs, so finding a vet who is experienced in treating greyhounds is important.  Many of the greyhound veterinarians are very active in the ‘sports medicine’ field and can often detect injuries that regular vets might miss.
