Changes to GRV Local Racing Rules

Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV) has made changes to the local racing rules that govern syndicates of racing greyhound owners.

One of the key changes to the new rules was designed to reduce the administrative burden on syndicate managers and encourage increased participation in syndication arrangements.

The other changes include clarifying the application of exclusion of liability for satisfactory trials and racing events; and updating the functions of the GRV Integrity Council.

The proposed rule changes were open for public consultation; following the consultation, the GRV Board considered the feedback and approved the changes effective 31 December 2018.
