GRV sponsors Chase for Charity

This morning Greyhound Racing Victoria handed over a cheque for more than $13,000 to the second-placed Victorian Men’s Shed Association as part of the Chase for Charity Program with Crocmedia.

GRV sponsors Chase for Charity, which runs for 30 weeks.

Each week the hosts, Craig Hutchinson, Liam Pickering and Dr Turf place bets valuing $500 each on Victorian greyhound races on behalf of a nominated organisation, then the organisation receives the winnings.

GRV General Manager of Marketing and Strategic Communication Louise Martin presented the cheque to the VMSA CEO Rick Blackburn at Carrum Downs this morning as the program was undertaking an outside broadcast.

“Greyhound racing communities are renowned for supporting families in times of need and for being active members of their local communities, always ready to step up for others.

“Greyhound Racing Victoria is a strong supporter of the VMSA and values our partnership greatly”, she said

Other charities involved in the program are McDonalds House and Dogs for Kids with Disabilities.
