Peter Mosman Classic Wrap: Lucky 13 for Fernando

Fernando Bale continued his charge into unchartered territory with a sensational win in Saturday night’s Group 1 Peter Mosman Classic (520m) at Wentworth Park.

The $1.50 favourite clocked one of the fastest times ever recorded at Wentworth Park (29.27sec) when defeating kennelmates Dyna Double One and Elfen Bale, while the $75,000 first prize took his career earnings up to $629,840.

The Victorian superstar has now won 21 from 26 and equalled the immortal Brett Lee’s best winning streak of 13.
