Tabcorp’s racing broadcaster Sky Racing has today announced it has completed a significant deal which will expand the export of Australian and New Zealand thoroughbred and greyhound racing to the United Kingdom and Ireland.

The deal is with At The Races which already broadcasts Australian thoroughbred racing to more than 13 million UK and Irish homes, as well as to racing fans via attheraces.com.

As part of the expanded arrangements:

•    At The Races, through its wholly owned streaming platform Sport Mediastream, will provide live streaming of all Australian and New Zealand thoroughbred and greyhound racing to the websites of UK, Irish and Channel Islands wagering operators including the major bookmakers. A fee will be paid each time a race is viewed (‘Bet & Watch’), which is subsequently shared between Sky and the respective racing industry.

•    At The Races will also continue to broadcast Sky’s Racing World Australia channel via its domestic channel on satellite and cable platforms. This means that up to four Australian thoroughbred meetings will continue to be showcased on At The Races daily.
