Tier Three races to return tomorrow

Tier Three races will again be included in the Victorian Greyhound Racing Program starting tomorrow at Warragul.

The inclusion of the Tier Three program follows consultation with trainers and owners over recent Aged Prize Money changes made because of a significant reduction in the Active Greyhound Population resulting in less races being conducted with less runners during the end of last year through to the early months of 2019.

“Following feedback that the changes to the program were causing unintended consequences we have now once again included some Tier Three races in our racing program going forward”, said CEO Alan Clayton.

Tier Three race meetings will be held each week at Shepparton (Monday – Night), Geelong (Tuesday – Twilight) and Warragul (Thursday – Day).
