Lawrence Cunningham Banned for Life

The independent Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board (RADB) announced that it had disqualified Mr Lawrence Cunningham from greyhound racing for life on Friday following a hearing into Mr Cunningham’s actions at the Tooradin Trial Track.

Mr Cunningham was the assistant track manager at the Tooradin Trial Track and was charged with breaches of Local Racing Rule (LRR) 18.5, and Greyhounds Australasia Rule (GAR) 86 (af) at a hearing held on Wednesday 26 August.

Mr Cunningham is the fifth trainer to be banned for life by the RADB for their actions at the Tooradin Trial Track. Two other trainers have received significant disqualification periods.

The RADB will hear a further 11 cases into individual’s actions at the Tooradin Trial Track before the end of the year.
