Hoop Arm Lure coming to The Meadows

Greyhound Racing Victoria advises that races incorporating the hoop arm lure into the catching pen will commence at The Meadows on Wednesday 15 June, 2016.

All Provincial Meetings (MEP) held at The Meadows on Wednesdays for six weeks commencing Wednesday 15 June, 2016 will be run using the hoop arm lure and will finish in the catching pen (not finishing on the lure).

The catching pen gate at The Meadows has been reconfigured so that it can now accommodate the hoop arm height and extra width from the rail.

Trials will be available using the hoop arm through the catching pen following all Wednesday meetings at The Meadows. Participants should contact The Meadows directly for bookings.

GRV will closely monitor the success of the hoop arm lure, which is designed to encourage less interference in races given it runs closer to the centre of the track.
