Vale Jeff Sprunt

It is with deep sadness that the Horsham Greyhound Racing Club announces the passing of Jeff Sprunt following a long series of health issues.

Jeff was manager at the Horsham GRC for eight years until health complications saw him stand aside from full time duties at the end of 2010.  He continued as starter and then kennel supervisor on race days  until  Decemeber 2012 when his health deteriorated further.

He had recently received a kidney transplant and was said to be feeling “on top of the world” and looking forward to getting back to Horsham and resuming his life.

He died unexpectedly this morning.

The Horsham Greyhound Racing Club wishes deepest condolences to Jeff’s family and friends on the loss of a passionate greyhound participant and will pay their respects at the Club with black arm bands  at today’s meeting.

Funeral details to follow.
