GRAEME BATE DISQUALIFICATION

On Monday 14 October 2013 Mr Graeme Bate was disqualified for 12 months (with three months of this disqualification suspended for 12 months pending no further breach of GAR83 during this period) by the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board (RADB) under GAR 83 (2) and (3) for failing to present a greyhound free from any prohibited substance for an event. The disqualification period begins at midnight tonight (23 October).

Mr Bate lodged an appeal with VCAT on Monday 21 October 2013. On Wednesday 23 October 2013 Greyhound Racing Victoria was advised by the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal that Mr Bate had not been granted a stay of proceedings because his appeal will be heard in the near future. Mr Bate
