Tribute for the late Pamela Burns

The greyhound racing community will get the opportunity to farewell Koo Wee Rup participant Pamela Burns at the Cranbourne Greyhound Racing Club on Wednesday.

Pamela, who recently passed away, and husband Terry have trialled and raced greyhounds at the Cranbourne GRC for many years.

“At Pamela’s request she did not want an actual service and so that’s why Pam’s family are having a tribute for her at the track,” announced Cranbourne GRC Manager, Amanda Frey.

“The plan is for her daughter Kelly to drive Pam in a Hurst around the track after kennelling, at approximately 6.15pm, and then everyone will go upstairs for drinks and nibbles. The Burns’ also have a few greyhounds running tomorrow night, and as trifectas were Pam’s favourite bet type the family will be placing a few trifecta bets in her honour.”
