Edna Betts, Akina Ivy and Akina Spice were slow to begin.  It's A Date checked off Secret Service approaching the first turn.  Ishmy Barry clipped the heels of Chase 'Em Spolly on the first turn checking Ishmy Barry.  Secret Service and Chase 'Em Spolly collided on the first turn.  Edna Betts clipped the heels of What A Chancer approaching the home turn.  Chase 'Em Spolly and Ishmy Barry collided approaching the home turn.  Akina Spice checked off Secret Service on the home turn checking Ishmy Barry.  Akina Ivy raced wide on the home turn.

Zipping Dion and Ya Ya Ya were slow to begin.  Zipping Dale crossed out soon after the start checking Zipping Dion.  Twice Blessed and Valhalla Girl crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Locked In, Mr. Cashking and Zipping Josette.  Mr. Cashking checked off Locked In on the first turn.  Locked In and Zipping Dion collided on the home turn, entering the home straight and in the home straight checking both greyhounds.  Zipping Dale crossed out in the home straight and raced wide.

Disco Hips was quick to begin.  St. Leo checked off Hip Hippy Shake approaching the first turn checking Hip Hippy Shake and Super Attitude severely checking Aston Nirvana and Doble Estandar.  Hip Hippy Shake and Sapphire Power collided on the first turn checking Sapphire Power.  St. Leo galloped on Sapphire Power on the second turn checking Sapphire Power.  Disco Hips and Audacious Grace collided on the home turn and raced wide in the home straight.

Feikuai Donna, Champagne Luxe and Jesaulenko were quick to begin.  Feikuai Donna and Champagne Luxe collided on the first turn checking Champagne Luxe; checking Aston Utah and Destini Trucker.

Ima Mystery Girl and Beckham were slow to begin.  Ima Mystery Girl and Beckham collided approaching the first turn checking Ima Mystery Girl.  Hot Tip and Barcali collided on the first turn.  Billy's Bake and Folding Green collided on the first turn checking Folding Green and Beckham.  Ima Mystery Girl checked off Beckham approaching the second turn.  Folding Green checked off Beckham in the back straight.  Barcali clipped the heels of Hot Tip on the third turn.

Folding Green was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Myrniong And All was vetted and after being re-vetted following event 12, it was reported that the greyhound sustained a right shoulder injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. A. Azzopardi, the trainer of Myrniong And All regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight, taking into consideration the injury that the greyhound sustained and a submission from Mr. Azzopardi, a warning was issued on this occasion.

Azalea was quick to begin.  Wharfies Girl and Big Flood were slow to begin.  Azalea and Demand A Panda collided on the first turn checking Sharp Missile.  Azalea, Demand A Panda and Dyna Winter raced wide in the home straight.

Satisfactory Trial Results -  Ohana Lad trialled over the 440m from box 7, weight 32.3kgs,  the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 25.05,  the greyhound won by a margin of 7.5 lengths.  Ohana Lad was Cleared.
