Horsham Cup scratching

The Jeff Britton trained Alpha Lucky has been scratched from Saturday night’s Group Two Horsham Cup due to injury.

Gregorovitch (pictured with Lisa Cockerell) is the first reserve and pending no further scratching’s he will jump from box six.

Trained, owned and bred by Ian Cockerell and his wife Lisa in Buckley, Gregorovitch is a winner of six races from 17 starts.

The son of Barcia Bale and Bathilda Bagshot ran second behind Super Sook who paid a staggering $41.50 for the win.

Gregorovitch stopped the clock in a time of 27.51sec from box three.

“I think he may be a bit out of his league in the Horsham Cup but I know the dog can really run,” trainer Ian Cockerell said.
