Aussie Infrared has been scratched from Friday night’s Group Two Triple M Bendigo Cup due to injury.
“We believe he has injured his chest muscle during his heat win on Sunday,” co-trainer Geoff Collins said.
Aussie Infrared stopped the clock at 23.95sec, which Collins believes showcases the dogs raw ability.
The withdrawal from the Bendigo Cup will put Aussie Infrared’s attempt at nine consecutive victories and his first Victorian Country Cup on hold.
Jesaulenko is the first reserve for the Group Two feature on Friday night.
