VIDEO: Every Greyhound Has a Story – Kerry, Jolanda & Mouse

The heart-warming tale of well known inner-city, apartment living greyhound Mouse features in the third installment of the Greyhound Adoption Program’s brand new video series titled ‘Every Greyhound Has a Story’.

Mouse is renowned for frequenting local canine-friendly eateries and cafes throughout Melbourne with her proud owners Jolanda and Kerry Oosthuizen-Walker.

“Greyhounds don’t need a lot of space, but we had to establish a routine to deal with the small space, because we had no yard. Our routine became going to a cafe every morning before work…which was just nice,” Jolanda said.

Kerry, Jolanda and Mouse have become trailblazers for the Greyhound Adoption Program, and are a key reason why the breed has grown rapidly in popularity as pets in apartments.

The ‘Every Greyhound Has a Story’ video series stems from the Greyhound Adoption Program’s photographic exhibition, which was showcased throughout Victoria in 2014/15.
