Sandown Park Preview: So Much Value it’s Scary

It looks like a wonderful night of betting for punters on Thursday at Sandown Park with a number of greyhounds worth investing your hard earned money in.

The opening race is set to bounce at 7.07pm with the maiden final from heats conducted on Sunday. Care Care Care was the fastest qualifier (Replay) and on that alone should be very hard to beat. Include the Brooke Ennis polish and he looks an even bigger chance.

At her third race kennel Proven Scary has found some career best form of late as she matures into a very handy type. After recording a slick 31.06 at her last outing from box seven at Ballarat, the daughter of Dyna Tron appears a massive chance to repeat the dose at massive value (rated at $7.50 by The Watchdog).

Tambay Bale is the new kid on the block when it comes to the staying caper and after debuting at the long trip with a slashing 11 length win, and she looks extremely hard to beat again (Replay). It took connections 57 starts before stepping her up to the staying trip but despite her experience she’s the fresh new face on the staying scene.

The mixed three and four (Race 8) would have to be one of the strongest mixed grade races we’ve seen. Elfen BaleEren Bale and Xtreme Knocka will vacate the inside three boxes whilst Moreira (pictured) will be looking to charge down for five straight metropolitan victories as he exits the eight alley.

In the second last race of the night I’m keen on Cashin’ In to beat Zigstar as I feel they have both drawn where they are suited over the middle trip.

The racing is set to wrap up 10.59pm so good luck and happy punting.
