Wobbly Night Ahead for Punters

Tuesday night will see another exciting night of greyhound racing grip the westernmost track in the state, following another set of exciting fields at Horsham.

The punting kicks off in race four and I’m really keen on the Lindsay Morshead trained Wobbler from the inside draw. He’s been racing very consistency of late, and should find a clear run if he jumps well – which I have no doubt he can do, as his form out of the boxes is very reliable.

His recent win over the 450 at Ballarat in 25.68sec was impressive to say the least (Replay), and he ran a very reasonable third to the talented Emrys in the heats of the Warrnambool classic last week. On top of this, his times indicate he has the speed to take this one out comfortably.

Moving onto the next race of the evening, I can’t look past Jubilea Bale from box four.

She’ll have a little more room to move and that should help her on her way to replicating her 29.74 second placing at Sandown recently (Replay – Box 7) – especially considering her ability to jump well ahead of the field. Others such as Duomo Bale (1) and Quick Kisses (7) have claims, but I’m backing Jubilea Bale to score after resuming from a break.
Later on in the evening, race eight offers a number of chances to punters – but I’m going to go with Zoe (3). Trained by Darren Fisher, she has shown herself to be capable enough to become a genuine powerhouse in country Victoria. If she hits the front early (which she is more than capable of doing) I’ll back her to salute.

Her recent runs (23.89sec triumph in Bendigo over the 425 metres (Replay), and 25.45sec placing at Shepparton over the 450 metres) are enough to convince me that she has the speed to get the job done.
