There’s never been a more exciting time for greyhound racing than right now, according to Greyhound Racing Victoria CEO, Adam Wallish.
Wallish recently caught up with SEN’s Mark Fine, where he revealed the latest financial profit figure for Victorian greyhound racing, and he delivered some great news for racegoers, who are set for a new level of comfort at Melbourne’s two metropolitan greyhound racing venues.
He is looking forward with anticipation to the TAB Melbourne Cup later this month, which is moving from its traditional Thursday night timeslot.
“We’ve got the TAB Melbourne Cup on a Friday night for the first time on the 21st of November.”
“We expect a bumper crowd there, record (betting) turnover we hope…and patrons galore,” he said.
Wallish also talked of the all-important skyward figures regarding greyhounds in the pet world.
