Tamika Fasoli on TV show Off The Bench

Heyfield trainer, owner and breeder Tamika Fasoli recently featured on the Country Football TV show Off The Bench around her local football club Gippsland Power, who is coached by former Collingwood premiership player Leigh Brown.

Tamika not only finds the time to spend with her kennel of 25 greyhounds as well as a few yards of puppies, which she shares the workload with her family – Tamika is the Gippsland Power’s Physiotherapist.

Although she is it yet to combine her two passions of greyhounds and football in Victoria, she has been successful in creating a syndicate of football umpires in South Australia who went under the syndication name Boundary Boys.

Tamika also works in an aged-care facility where the residents have taken a liking to Tamika’s greyhounds. So much so Tamika allowed them to name one of her up and coming greyhounds Walk On By.

“I love seeing a greyhound you bred yourself make it to the racetrack and then find a home when they finish,” Tamika Fasoli explained.
