Three for Three in Brisbane Winter Cup

Blazin’ Bomber, Zambora Brockie and Master Jackpot made it through to next week’s Group 1 $75,000 to-the-winner, Brisbane Winter Cup after impressive heat performances at Albion Park tonight.

Blazin’ Bomber took out the first heat from box six, paying $2.30 for his eight length victory stopping the clock at 29,71sec. His victory didn’t come easy, after missing the start Blazin’ Bomber had to work from fourth position to claim the strong victory.

There was no looking back for the Group 2 Warrnambool Cup and Horsham Cup winner Zambora Brockie when the boxes opened. The inside draw saw the talented chaser camp on the rail to win by eight and a half lengths in a sizzling time of 29.64sec.

Master Jackpot missed out on a victory by half a length to Outside Pass, but still gained a start in next week’s Group 2 Brisbane Winter Cup finishing second.
