Dyna Claims Rare Group One Double

Dyna Double One is now Australian greyhound racing’s third highest all-time prize money earner after taking out the $146,000 Group 1 Brisbane Cup (520m) at Albion Park on Thursday night.

The $100,000 first prize saw his stake earnings soar up to $803,506, with only champion kennelmate Fernando Bale ($1.293Mil) and stayer Sweet It Is ($1,032,445) ahead of him.

Trained by Andrea Dailly, Dyna Double One became just the second greyhound in the past 15 years to capture the Melbourne Cup/Brisbane Cup double, joining Got A Moment (2012).

The only Victorian-trained greyhound to make the Brisbane Cup final, Dyna Double One ($1.50 Fav) defeated Cyndie’s Magic by four lengths in the slick time of 29.71sec, with Fantastic Spiral running third.
